At Visual Trading we respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
1. Data Controller
Visual Trading is the data controller for your personal data. For any privacy queries, contact privacy@visualtrading.io
2. Data We Collect
Account: email address and hashed password (or Google OAuth token).
Service usage: AI conversations, backtests, saved strategies and account settings.
Technical data: IP address (for abuse protection), browser type, country of access.
Payment data: we do not store card data — Dodo Payments handles payments directly.
Analytics: aggregated, anonymized usage data via Google Analytics 4.
3. How We Use Your Data
Providing the service: authentication, storage of backtests and conversations, plan features.
Security: detecting and blocking malicious traffic and fraudulent use.
Improving Visual Trading: analyzing aggregated usage patterns to develop new features.
Service communications: plan notices and relevant policy changes.
4. Legal Bases (GDPR)
Contract performance: account and usage data necessary to provide the service.
Legitimate interest: IP data and technical logs for security and fraud prevention.
Consent: analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4). You may withdraw consent by disabling analytics cookies in your browser.
5. Third Parties
Supabase / Neon: database and authentication. Servers in the EU.
Anthropic: AI processing for paid plans. Servers in the US under EU standard contractual clauses.
Google: OAuth authentication and analytics under the EU-US adequacy framework.
Dodo Payments: payment processing and tax management as Merchant of Record.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you reside in the EU or EEA, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, object to, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@visualtrading.io
7. Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we erase your personal data within 30 days, unless the law requires longer retention.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies (user session, language preferences) and analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4). You may disable analytics cookies in your browser settings.
9. Security
We apply technical and organizational measures to protect your data: HTTPS/TLS encryption, bcrypt password hashing, and restricted database access.
